If you needed proof that American Idol season eight top three finalist Adam Lambert has got what it takes to be a star – here it is.
The pin-up offered up his best Freddie Mercury as the theatrical frontman in camp revue The Zodiac Show last September (08).
Back then, Lambert was plucked from obscurity by former Pussycat Dolls star Carmit Bachar to perform in her modern Moulin Rouge show, which wowed crowds at the Avalon Theatre in Hollywood.
Ever the showman, Lambert even performed with a fiery mic stand.
It seems the Zodiac Show was a sign for the singer to aim for Idol’s heights – and he’s the heavy favorite to take the top prize this year (09).
